Blore Heath online

About Blore Heath
Blore Heath is a small area of farmland close to the Staffordshire,
Shropshire and Cheshire borders, in the northwest midlands of England.
In 1459, it was the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the Wars of the Roses.
This website is an online resource dedicated to events at Blore Heath, past and present.
Green Age at Blore Heath Farm
From Summer 2010, we are implementing plans to convert part of the farm buildings into a not-for-profit centre dedicated to day care for the active elderly. We call this project "Green Age at Blore Heath".
The principle of a "Care Farm" for the elderly is well established in European countries such as Holland and Norway, and Blore Heath will be one of the first of its kind in the UK. Please visit the Green Age Blog to follow developments of this exciting project.
2010 Re-enactment Update
Unfortunately there is no Re-enactment planned for 2010 because of plans to improve the farm buildings later in the year.
This will be the first year since 1998 that there has been no re-enactment, and the Blore Heath Heritage Group would like to thank all of those who've attended the event throughout the years.
Please visit the Gallery section for pictures of previous Re-enactments.
If you attended the battle last year (or in previous years), we'd love to hear your feedback on the event. Please take a couple of minutes to fill out the online questionnaire.
